New Crash Pic

There were 4 we were given after today's ultrasound, but this one was the best (I think). You can see features!

So THAT's what's going in on Exit 18: Gateway Park

I've been trying to look at the sign that's posted off the exit, but as anybody that know's that area can understand, you've got about 0.05 seconds before you could be slammed by people coming in from the merge from downtown or from people that want to get into the middle lane since the right-lane is right-turn only...

Click on the link above and then look up the Gateway Park Project. Looks like my alma mater owns most of the undeveloped area, if not all!

I FINALLY found some blogs from people in the Worcester area...

Of note is this post in radioball.net that talks about our recent municipal elections...personally, there's a real dearth of information about Worcester once you leave the city limits or refuse to get a subscription to the T&G...

Who Saw Saturday Night Live on 11/19?

Personally, I thought it was pretty funny, better than much of the previous season. I agree with this guy (on some sort of TIVO web community) that the "Vincent Price Thanksgiving Day 1958" sketch was the best of the bunch...and, perhaps found a couple of rising stars as well - Bill Hader (Price) and Kristen Wiig (sp?) as Judy Garland. She also did a dead-on Megan Mullaly impersonation in the 'Spammies' skit earlier. Two good quotes:

Price: "What? We're back?! Who makes a 17 second cigarette commercial?!!!"

Garland: "Did you ever feel like your hands were made of sand??"

Nesting...

You would think that I was Italian instead of Polish/Irish-Catholic. Keep in mind there is one more pan that what you see - it's already in the oven (I'm hungry). In the complete process the total food usage was:
3 pounds ground beef
2 pounds sausage
5 cans of tomato sauce
4 peppers / one large onion
4 boxes of lasagna noodles (I have seven left over - guess I over estimated)
3 pounds of cottage cheese
3 eggs
4 pounds of mozzerella cheese

Hope everyone enjoys themselves this weekend

Crash: Evolution [bumped]

Here's Crash after 4 months...

After 5 months...and:

Seven months!

[Update] And eight and a half months...

Sorry - I just wasn't feeling up to subjecting you all to the "open belly" shots (lucky for all of you). I did though, after the picture was taken, go swimming at the JCC and put forward my best Shamu impersonation. No - the water did NOT come up and over the pool ledge, but I'm pretty certain that it rose at least a few inches. I'm sure as Crash gets even bigger and I come to care less and less about how beluga-like I am becoming, the belly shots will be back. Until then - consider yourself blessed.

Just A Reminder...

We've had a pretty mild autumn. But about a year ago at this time, we were shoveling five inches of snow. I don't know about you, but I'm all for raking leaves and not shoveling. At least not quite yet.

Sport Parallels Life...

Bad new from the Bruins: RW Pat Leahy is out indefinetly with a finger fracture.
Patrick - better keep your fingers protected (more than you do with your face, at least) or you could be next. The incidences and locations of both your injuries recently are just plain freaky.

Maybe this Pat Leahy would be better off playing for the Media Stars and THIS Pat Leahy would be better off wearing a complete face mask so he protects that pretty noggin of his...(link pending as soon as I can figure out how to get a picture up)...

Scooter Indicted...

Just when you thought that it couldn't get any worse for Scooter and the Republicans, someone comes up with this.

Please note that the general dislike of Tim McCarver's announcing is included even here.

Thank you, Landau, I am very grateful.
