More Fun on the Swings...

From yesterday at Boynton Park. Caroline just loves the swings.
The funny part is that we went to a small gift shop in Tatnuck Square after we were done at the park and were telling the shop owner about it. Turns out her son rehabbed Boynton Park for his Eagle Scout project thirteen years ago and put up the swingset that we enjoy so much. She was so happy to hear that it was still functional and people were still enjoying it. Small world, huh?
As much as sometimes I would love to pull up and just move out of here and go somewhere exotic and mysterious, it's stuff like what happened today that will keep us here (for at least a while)...
Oh - and we watched the movie Serenity. Good movie (kind of like Star Wars and Indiana Jones combined, but Nathan Fillian is a better Hans Solo)...but the TV series was better. Now that we've seen all the episodes we can get back to normal and not spend our time in front of the television!

We were the same way going through Firefly and then Serenity.. life revolved around the TV for a while.. not that it doesn't now.. lol.. Oh and Battlestar Galactica was like that too.. couldn't stop watching it.. ;-)
It does my heart good to know that there are Sci-Fi geeks everywhere (and it's not just us)!
Sitting in front of the TV is very out of character for us (we can go a week without even turning it on) - so to be so addicted to one show is strange. We really enjoyed it -
We're going to have to get our hands on the Battlestar Gallactica series (after the basebally season) =-)...
Thanks for continuing to read - we're enjoying your blog as well (especially my Mom in New York)! You have fans all over!
Without cable we'll have to figure out a way to see galactica - probably one of my enourmous cadre of engineer geeks that watch the sci-fi network and can find a way to make TiVo portable... ;o)
I've really enjoyed Firefly / Serenity, and soon enough I'm sure that we'll be giving each other Serenity shirts!
