Gates Chili Color Guard Update

With their March 18 win of the Syracuse Regional, and other recent wins in the Mid-Atlantic and Boston Regionals, Gates Chili looks to be in GREAT shape heading to Dayton. Word on the street has Gates ranked first in Scholastic A class in the nation.

From the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle:

Thumbs upFor the Gates Chili High School color guard for finishing in first place last weekend at the Mid Atlantic Power Regional Competition in Trenton, N.J. The color guard also finished in first place at a regional competition in Boston earlier in February. Dick Hoppe is the director

The clip from the Mid-Atlantic regional looks great. They look to have a really strong weapon's book and it looks like more of an Open class show, rather than A class.

It would be wonderful to have a medal come back to Rochester. Mr Hoppe has come a LOOOONNGGG way from the "Girls, Girls, Girls" days. Congratulations!
